Clinical Coordinator in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace & Biomedical Engineering.
Position Available Immediately and Open until Filled.
Provides oversight and support to clinical research studies in the biomedical engineering program and will be very involved in the hiring process and supervision of staff, budget and projects. Also, oversees the preparation and submission of national and international applications and ongoing reports for clinical trials approvals and renewals.
Responsible for the design and implementation of research protocol, especially focused on the quality control of regulatory documents required for human subjects research.
Data analysis, writing documents such as study protocols, journal publications, abstracts and the willingness to travel and attend major orthopaedic and bioengineering conferences.
Interaction with study sponsors, surgeons and clinical staffs and will serve as a liaison between the UT researchers and the clinical staffs. Ensures that goals and milestones remain on track and develops and implements corrective action plans in an effort to improve performance when needed.
Support the activities of the Principal Investigator in accordance with federal, state, local, institutional, and any other appropriate guidelines, policies, and procedures.
