Plans and coordinates the day-to-day administrative, operational and fiscal activities of a University program.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as a principal liaison between students, faculty, staff, other departments, and/or external contacts on day-to-day operational, and administrative issues of the program; facilitates seminars, meetings, special projects, and problem resolution.
Performs administrative support tasks, including creation, typing, and editing of program correspondence, documents, reports, program handbooks, brochures and other publications.
Coordinates activities of support staff, consultants, faculty, and/or volunteers engaged in implementation and administration of program objectives.
Writes, edits, and coordinates documents, as appropriate to the program.
Monitors program/project revenues and expenses for cost effectiveness of program.
Collects and analyzes data; prepares scheduled and special reports; maintains program/project records and statistical information.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
High school diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field is preferred.
Two to four years of related experience preferably.
Experience in a medical, research or educational environment preferred.
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
Advanced writing and editorial skills.
Ability to interact with students, faculty and/or staff in a team environment and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The hiring range for this position is $18.80 - $23.99 per hour.
