This is a full time research technician position in the Biedermann Lab for Orthopaedic Research, in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. The research focus of the group is on macroscopic biomechanical testing of orthopaedic implants. The candidate will provide technical assistance to post-docs, and research staff within the group. The candidate will assist other lab members in the execution of projects involving development and execution of mechanical testing protocols. The candidate will also assist in the proper storage and management of data sets from ongoing projects. Other duties will include maintenance of laboratory equipment (including computers), creating laboratory stock solutions, cleaning surgical tools, and keeping an organized notebook.
