The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is leading the transformation of healthcare into personalized medicine through patient-centered outcomes research. The work of the Orthopaedic Trauma Clinical Research Team is enabling Inova to translate advances from clinical trials and outcomes research directly to patients, optimizing individual health and well-being. We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our team.
The Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible for managing studies (consenting patient/participants, study procedures/surveys, follow-up, data collection and entry).
Clinical Research Management : Adheres to GCP, FDA, and Inova Health System guidelines when implementing research studies to ensure highest quality research within Inova Health System from site selection to study closure.
Financial Management/Research Billing: Coordinates financial aspects of clinical trial implementation from protocol feasibility through to study closure.
Quality Assurance/Regulatory Compliance : Utilizes and adheres to Inova standards, GCP and FDA guidelines to ensure the highest quality research within Inova.
Teamwork: Communicates effectively and works in collaboration with the research team (physician investigators and research team) in order to meet research study and departmental objectives. Demonstrates respect and understanding of other clinical disciplines.
Professional Development : Makes a continuous effort to foster self-development, enhance work related skills and improve job performance and expertise.
