The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a full time orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest and expertise in fractures, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and non-operative treatment of shoulder problems including complex and revisio n surgery to be hired at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher, Academic Track. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in orthopaedic surgery with a required additional shoulder fellowship. The individual hired will also be employed fulltime in the University of Minnesota Physician's practice group and must be eligible for medical Iicensure in the State of Minnesota
Responsibilities include patient care at VA Medical Center and other affiliated training programs and clinic sites as needed. Academic responsibilities include full participation in overall departmental and interdisciplinary activities including teaching of medical students, orthopaedic residents and fellows, research, and service activities.
