The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is recruiting a Diagnostic Radiologist who is fellowship trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology. The position is for the Associate Professor level, however, a lower rank physician may be considered with the appropriate credentials. The successful applicant must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology. Teaching of medical students and residents is required. The successful applicant will have primary responsibility for the cross-sectional MRI and CT musculoskeletal practice, which includes various diagnostic procedures, and aspirations. MSK ultrasound experience and demonstrated experience covering diagnostic radiology is desired. The ideal candidate should have 5 – 10 years of clinical experience, with interest in research and demonstrated research output. Protected research time could be given in the appropriate candidate and research.
Minimum Education and Experience:
The successful applicant must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The preferred candidates should have a full spectrum of MSK skills including, MSK ultrasound experience and demonstrated experience with joint aspirations/ injections.
An active New Jersey medical license is required.
