The College of William & Mary seeks applicants for the position of Athletic Trainer. This is an entry-level position that will share athletic training responsibilities for a broad-based Division I athletic program. Position includes full benefits. Bachelor’s degree required, BOC Certification required, Virginia Licensure eligible, American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Standard First Aid Instructor required, valid driver’s license. Knowledge of musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and psychological demands placed on athletes. Knowledge of legal requirements and rules of the athletic event. Competency in prevention, recognition, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and/or illnesses. Demonstrated ability to make decisions that preserves the integrity of athletics, the athletic department and reduces the liability of the College. Master’s Degree preferred.
Additional Salary Information: Salary up to $41,500, commensurate with experience.
