We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Secretary II in the RUSK HJD Administration Department. To qualify a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Three (3) years of relevant medical clerical experience required. Knowledge of medical terminology, lite typing, and with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint with advanced skills in Excel). Knowledge of computer-based scheduling and appointment programs. Prior physician practice experience, preferred. The ability to multi-task, communicate with patients, guests, and staff. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and telephone skills are required.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support services for RUSK Administrative operations. Including, but not limited to: answering incoming phone calls, meeting, greeting, checking in patients, multi-tasking, reporting to and supporting to multiple managers, scheduling appointments and managing calendars. Assists in completion of special reports, projects, and department activities. Creates, reviews for accuracy, pulls, and files employee files. Ability to handle busy office setting. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

- Collects and compiles data, statistics, and other materials for reports and/or budgets.
- Responds in a timely, discrete and confidential manner to all requests concerning sensitive issues.
- Greets, directs, and responds to the needs and requests of the staff, patients, and general public for the section/department.
- Orders and maintains an inventory of supplies for the area.
- Assists in the training of subordinate office personnel for the area.
- Effectively schedules or arranged events, activities, travel arrangement and appointments.
- Takes and transcribes moderately complex dictation using a word processor.
