We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Pediatric Nurse Manager. The Nurse Manager will coordinate and direct patient care services for an active, cutting edge Pediatric Acute Care and Center for Children. In this role you will be responsible for the management of patients with acute or chronic illnesses or injuries on an episodic, outpatient basis. You will effectively guide screening, triage, patient education, pain management, discharge planning and other intervention. The successful candidate will provide clinical and administrative leadership, fostering a professional practice environment that supports excellence in clinical practice and patient care.
To qualify you must have a Licensure: Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York. This position also requires a dedicated professional with demonstrated leadership skills and previous management. At least 5 years of critical care experience is required. Pediatric acute care experience is a plus. Masters Degree in Nursing is required. Certification(s) in specialty preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills are necessary.
