The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the tenure track. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of Radiology, with expertise in the specific area of Musculoskeletal Imaging. Responsibilities include leading an internationally recognized program in the radiology department's Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging. The successful applicant will have a distinguished record as a scholar and clinician in musculoskeletal radiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology eligible or certified and must have completed fellowship training in musculokeletal imaging. ABR equivalent body is acceptable.
The Musculoskeletal Division currently has 8 full or part-time clinical faculty and 3 ACGME fellowship positions. It is supported by a strong group of basic imaging scientists with an interest in osteoporosis and cartilage diseases. The Division is located primarily within the multidisciplinary Penn Musculoskeletal Center, and provides clinical services at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, and The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center. There are exceptional research opportunities in collaboration with programs in Rheumatology and Orthopedic Surgery.
