Assistant / Associate Level Professor Position
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of California at San Francisco, is recruiting a full-time podiatrist. This position will be at the Assistant or Associate level in the applicable series commensurate with experience; salary negotiable. Demonstrated experience in management of foot problems required.
The incumbent will be expected to collaborate in clinical and/or basic research as well as publish subsequent results in peer reviewed journals. Clinical responsibilities will emphasize the area of the foot, including limb salvage, and wound care. The selected individual will also be responsible for and provide an integral role to teach clinically relevant topics for residents as well as medical students and fellows.
Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery
Completed a fully accredited Podiatric residency approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education
A valid California Podiatry license will be required as a condition of employment
Associate level applications will have demonstrated involvement in quality research through accepted or published writings in peer reviewed journals.
