PEDIATRIC ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN FRANCISCO Assistant /Associate Level Professor Position
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UCSF is recruiting a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
As a member of the Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics, the candidate will care for the full spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions in children. The incumbent will be expected to collaborate in clinical and/or basic research as well as publish results in peer reviewed journals. The selected individual will be expected to teach and mentor residents, fellows and medical students. He or she will work primarily at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, and will have full access to all UCSF sites, including the new Children’s Hospital at Mission Bay.
Requirements: A valid California medical license. Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery. Completion of a fully accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. Completion of a Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship. For Associate level, evidence of academic accomplishment commensurate with the position.
