Postdoc openings are available in the Song Lab in the Department of Orthopedics, University of Massachusetts Medical School for projects aimed at developing more effective strategies towards scaffold-guided/stem cell-based bone regeneration (e.g. hard to heal diabetic bone injuries), cartilage/osteochondral tissue regeneration, and implant surface modifications for reducing periprosthetic infections. A recent Ph.D. (within the last 2 years) in bioengineering, skeletal biology or materials sciences is required. Hands-on experience in cell / molecular biology and animal work are desired.
