Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clin, Clin X, In-Residence, Adjunct) Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery within the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (http://ortho.ucsd.edu/) and Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego are committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body is seeking for a highly qualified Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon.
This is a joint appointment at the University of California, San Diego and Rady Children's Hospital. The recruitment is focused on individuals with special interest or experience in neuromuscular conditions and/or limb reconstruction/lengthening. Responsibilities will include patient care, teaching, research at Rady Children's Hospital.
Candidates must have an MD or DO, fellowship completed an accredited orthopaedic surgery residency training program, fellowship training, must be board eligible or board certified and eligible for licensure in California.
Candidates should demonstrate evidence of outstanding qualifications through patient care activities, and a publication rate appropriate to appointment level.
Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Series will be determined by the candidate's background and experience. Salary is commensurate with qualification and based on University of California pay scales.
