The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery within the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (http://ortho.ucsd.edu/) is committed to the academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body and seeks an Assistant Project Scientist. Multiple opportunities for collaboration research will be available.
This is a newly established position will bridge clinical, industry, and basic science research, focusing on the clinical-industry partnership and managing documentation of heavy clinical trials. This position will utilize the resources of the newly opened Altman Clinical Translational Research Institute and will be in regular contact with the UCSD IRB and regulatory agencies for the benefit of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Candidates must have a PhD, and the ability to make original and significant contributions to a research program.
Appointment will be at the Assistant Project Scientist. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales.
