Responsibilities include patient care at University of Minnesota Medical Center, and affiliated training programs and clinical sites as needed. Academic responsibilities include full participation in overall departmental and interdisciplinary activities including teaching of medical students, orthopaedic residents and fellows, research, and service activities.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a full-time orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty in spine to be hired at the rank of Assistant Professor or above on the clinical scholar track. Candidates are required to have completed an orthopaedic surgery residency and must have completed an additional accredited spine fellowship The individual hired will also be employed fulltime in the University of Minnesota Physicians practice group and must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota.
