<p><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The responsibilities of this position include assisting in building a Women’s Sports Program at TRIA Orthopaedic facilities and to practice at TRIA and other facilities. Additionally, responsibilities include patient care at TRIA locations, affiliated training programs, such as the Minneapolis VA Health Care System, and clinical sites of the University of Minnesota Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, as needed. Academic responsibilities include full participation in overall departmental and interdisciplinary activities including teaching of medical students, orthopaedic residents and fellows, research, and service activities.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a full-time orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest and expertise in sports medicine surgery with a focus on young adult hip, hip arthroscopy, and hip preservation. It is expected that the individual would develop a clinical practice and research program which includes specific contributions focused on women with musculoskeletal disorders. Rank will be Assistant Professor or higher, on the clinical scholar track. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in orthopaedic surgery. The individual hired will also be employed fulltime in the University of Minnesota Physicians practice group and must be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota </span></span></p>
