In the pivotal role of Health Policy Data Analyst, with guidance and training, you will be responsible for data management and data analysis for research studies, including clinical trials and cohort studies. You must be able to use quantitative and qualitative research methods for data analysis. Our group performs NIH and Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) funded large clinical trials, cohort studies, and genetic epidemiology. You will have the opportunity to manage and analyze data from these studies, and learn from senior statisticians and musculoskeletal researchers. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and detail-oriented, be able to handle multiple tasks, and possess strong data analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, and be comfortable interacting with team members including the PI and senior statisticians.
Masters in quantitative health/health sciences fields such as epidemiology, biostatistics, and health policy.
Previous experience with research, including research R software, is preferred.
Work as a member of research team and provide expertise in research design
Expertise in REDCap data management and design
Uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to participate in design, coordination, and conduct of research projects
Assist in designing methods to collect research data including procedures for collection, cleaning, and management of data
Assist in preparing datasets for analysis as well as data analysis plans
Uses advanced programming and statistical expertise to manage and analyze data
Responsible for managing large and/or complex datasets
Perform data management and make patient enrollment reports using statistical software
Assist in preparation of data analysis sections for manuscript, grants, and oral presentations
