We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Anesthesia Technician in the Anesthesiology Department. To qualify a Bachelor’s Degree in health care related field preferred or a suitable combination of education and experience required. Graduate of an approved Anesthesia Technician program. Ability to lift and push all anesthesia equipment and supplies over 50 lbs.
In this role, the successful candidate participates as a member of the Anesthesia care team by being responsible for provision, maintenance, and technical function of anesthesia equipment. Responsible for delivery and stocking of supplies for perioperative anesthesia administration, the cleaning and troubleshooting of various types of anesthesia equipment. Perform other related duties, as required.
Distributes equipment and materials appropriately.
Monitor inventory and stock levels of anesthesia supplies in storage areas and in operating rooms.
Clean and set-up anesthesia equipment/supplies as part of OR turnovers.
Maintain anesthesia machines and anesthesia monitoring equipment.
Provide technical support to Anesthesiologist in all clinical settings.
Perform other related duties, as required.
