We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Staff Pharmacist in the Pharmacy Department. To qualify a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required, advanced degree in a pharmacy related field, preferred. New York State Pharmacist License required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and preparing medication for dispensing to patients. Advises practitioners regarding drug selection and therapy, reviews medication storage throughout the institution and participates in education al activities. Conducts Nursing Station inspection of controlled drugs. Documents and maintains pharmaceutical records. Provides drug information and consultation. Responsible for filing, checking, compounding prescriptions and sterile product preparation. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrates knowledge of the organizations Service Standards and incorporates them into the performance of duties.
