Virginia Commonwealth University, Department of Radiology has a fellowship opening for July 1, 2018- June 30, 2019 academic year. Successful completion of an ACGME accredited radiology residency program is required. The candidate will receive extensive training in musculoskeletal imaging and interventions. The section offers clinical training in diagnostic radiography, CT, MRI and ultrasound. There is a large procedural component to the fellowship. Procedures include: CT, US and fluoroscopically guided spine and joint injections, joint aspirations, arthrography, soft tissue and bone tumor and infection biopsies. MSK Fellows have opportunities for research, teaching and career development. There are multiple 1.5 and pending 3T MR scanners. Fellows rotate through multidisciplinary ambulatory care facilities and a tertiary care, 774 bed hospital.
