The Department of Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute are seeking a fulltime physician for an outstanding academic practice opportunity in stroke rehabilitation. The position involves inpatient and outpatient practice, teaching of residents, and some protected time to participate in collaborative clinical research. Besides stroke, there is also the potential to participate in other outpatient rehabilitation services such as electromyography, spasticity management and prosthetics. This is an opportunity to join an expanding and motivated team of physicians, nurses and therapists that run the largest inpatient stroke rehabilitation program in Maryland.

Candidates should have completed a residency in Physical Medicine &Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, and be Board eligible in their respective field. The candidate should be eligible for academic appointment to the University of Maryland School of Medicine at the assistant or associate professor level.
