Summary of Essential Job Duties: The Administrative Services Associate coordinates all clerical, administrative and business system for the department. This individual is responsible for supervising 15+ staff, assigning and reviewing the work of clerical, administrative and support staff engaged in a full range of office activities including patient, clinical and surgery scheduling, customer/client service, human resources, payroll, purchasing, etc. Responsible for reviewing and updating systems and process to maintain efficiency and compliance with CSHS policies, JCAHO and other outside agency requirements Note: New Hires must successfully pass a background check, a prohibited substance screening and a pre-employment health screening.
Qualification Requirements/Preferences: Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Education: - Some college experience preferred - High School Diploma Required Experience: - 4 years experience in office and administrative areas, including some supervisory experience required - Independently able to facilitate customer/client services, payroll, human resources, purchasing, and accounting. - Demonstrates leadership ability to establish intradepartmental administrative systems and achieve orderly, accurate and timely work flow. - Able to lead and motivate staff - Proficient in computer programs including Word, Excel and able to learn department specific program Physical Demands: - Must be able to perform assigned duties in a demanding work environment - Walking, standing, lifting up to 20 pounds
