Assistant Professor, Orthopaedic Surgeon
The Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System and the University of Washington Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine are seeking an academic orthopaedic surgeon. The position is at the Assistant Professor level within the University of Washington School of Medicine, and will at least initially be based full-time at VAPSHCS.. Candidates must be a Citizen of the United States and have an MD degree and be board certified or eligible in orthopaedic surgery. One year of fellowship training is required and fellowship training in total joint replacement is highly desirable. Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching and will be expected to establish a robust clinical or basic science research program.
