Pediatric Non-operative Sports Medicine physician in Orange County, CA
Adult and Pediatric Orthopaedic Specialists is seeking a full-time, Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Sports Medicine specialist to join a pediatric orthopedics focused practice. The candidate can expect to walk into a busy outpatient clinic setting, with no call duties, treating non-operative orthopedic musculoskeletal conditions, and managing concussions. For this position, we are seeking a sports medicine fellowship trained physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience treating pediatric and adolescent patients, will feel comfortable in the diagnosis and management of concussion, and will have experience performing diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections. The selected individual will provide Sports Medicine care to physically active children, adolescents, and young adults in Orange County.
The physician will work with orthopedic surgeons trained in sports medicine, scoliosis/spine, and general pediatric trauma. The clinic has on-site diagnostic imaging with x-ray and ultrasound.
Orange County offers diverse culture and sophisticated population, with a wide variety of activities and events. There is great hiking, biking (mountain and road), and surfing, with community parks and activities for families of all ages. Located between San Diego and Los Angeles, there are ample social and cultural opportunities within an hour’s drive.

Requirements: • MD or DO degree • Ideal background in pediatrics, but will consider the right candidate with internal medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine or PM&R training • Board Certified or Board Eligible • Sports Medicine Fellowship Trained • Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of California
